1938, the Junior League of McAllen, Inc. has taken the lead in
volunteerism in its community. It has organized and promoted the arts, addressed
children's issues, advanced health care and assisted educational
needs. Over 400 business and individuals
have enthusiastically supported the efforts of the Junior League of
McAllen through monetary and service-in-kind contributions. The
loyalty of these sponsors has encouraged leadership and enriched the lives
of children and youth.
